Many women are obsessed with having thick, long brows, and we believe it is for all the right reasons. Thick brows give your face a lot of depth and dimension, and they help to frame your features nicely. Years of over-plucking, threading, or even waxing your brows, on the other hand, inhibits their growth and leaves empty areas where full brows once were.

Of course, you may use your trusted brow products to fill in these gaps and give the illusion that you have flawlessly thick brows, but we all secretly wish we could have this one facial feature seem beautiful without the use of cosmetics.

You’ve come to the correct place if you have naturally thin eyebrows or are experiencing slow growth and want to learn how to grow larger eyebrows naturally. This natural product is absolutely risk-free, and the best thing is that it produces effects quickly.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil is another substance that has to be at the top of the list of how to develop longer eyebrows. Essential nutrients, vitamins, and fatty acids abound in this oil, all of which awaken dormant hair follicles and encourage faster hair growth. Regularly massaging the region around your brows with coconut oil will nourish and moisturize the area while also protecting the fragile brow hair.

How to apply coconut oil on your brows:

Step 1: Soak a cotton swab in pure organic coconut oil and apply it to your brows and the region around them.

Step 2: Apply it on your brows and let it on for the night.

Step 3: Wash it off in the morning with cold water and a mild soap.

Simply rubbing a little quantity of rosemary oil blended with any carrier oil, such as coconut or almond oil, into your scalp can give you luscious locks.

How and Why to Get a Nonsurgical Neck Lifts

0

Surgical neck lifts are the gold standard for removing excess skin, tightening loose skin, and reducing the bands (or “cords”) on the neck. In 2019, close to 55,000 people had a surgical neck lift procedure.

That said, the number of people wanting to change the appearance of their skin without going under the knife is on the rise. Nonsurgical, minimally invasive procedures aren’t as dramatic as surgical treatments.

They can, however, help improve skin tone and texture, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and neck folds, and give the contour of your neck a more youthful look.

A few of the other benefits of nonsurgical cosmetic treatments over surgical procedures include:

  • Quicker recovery time. Recovery times for many nonsurgical neck lift procedures range from just a few hours to a few days. Side effects are generally minimal, and include redness, irritation, swelling, tenderness, and soreness at an injection site.
  • Less expensive. A surgical neck lift averages $5,100. Nonsurgical procedures, on the other hand, range from $400 to $2,000, depending on the treatment.
  • Shorter procedure. In general, most nonsurgical procedures take 30 to 90 minutes, compared with surgical procedures that can take several hours.
  • Fewer risks overall. Since general anesthesia and large incisions aren’t required for nonsurgical procedures, there’s a reduced risk to your health.

Types of nonsurgical neck lifts

While this isn’t an exhaustive list of your options, the following nonsurgical procedures are often used to minimize the signs of aging in neck skin.

Botox

Injectable therapies like Botox (botulinum toxin type A injection) can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

“Although off-label, many dermatologists utilize Botox injections along the neck and vertical neck bands… to quiet muscle movement on the neck and relax the downward-pulling motion of the neck muscle,” says Dr. Melanie Palm, a board certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon.

Botox is nearly painless, requires minimal-to-no downtime, and taskin treakes minimal time to complete. The average cost of Botox is about $400.

To maintain results, you’ll need to go in for a treatment every 3 to 4 months.

The Ultimate Guide To Flawless, Natural Matte Makeup

0

We can easily spend up to an hour meticulously smoothing on the perfect foundation base, contouring to the high heavens and beating our faces with a powder puff, only to have our perfectly pampered complexion feel heavy and patchy just hours later. It can often feel like our skin hates us when it decides to throw this teenage tantrum, but luckily, our cries for help have been heard by the beauty gods. It seems that a fair few of us are fighting this battle, which is why there is an abundance of matte makeup and skincare products. So, if you’re losing your patience with oily skin, have a little skim through the five different ways you can mattify your complexion.

1. Tone it down

The road to oil-free skin all begins with a specialised skincare routine. If you want to achieve a healthier, less oily complexion then it’s time to ditch the makeup wipes (yes, I know they’re so much quicker but trust me, your skin will thank you). Skin toners are arguably one of the most useful tools for sufferers of oily skin as they help to keep that unwanted greasy complexion at bay with their potent properties.

2. Mask your problems away

No, not behind makeup (not just yet, anyway). Once a week, try treating your skin to a face mask that targets oil directly. You’ll want to look out for masks that include white clay (kaolin), charcoal or salicylic acid. These all work to absorb excess sebum from within the pores, so you’re definitely going to need one of these in your bathroom cabinet.

3. Prioritise your primer

The answer to long-lasting, non-patchy makeup lies in the form of a mattifying skin primer. Next time you’re browsing the endless options, try looking out for one that boasts a shine control finish. Usually, these products tend to soak up oil while diffusing its reflective nature.

What You Need to Know About Brow Lift

0

A brow lift, also known as a forehead lift or forehead rejuvenation, is a cosmetic procedure to raise the brows. A brow lift improves the appearance of the forehead, the brow and the area around the eyes by raising the tissue and skin of the forehead.

You might choose to have this procedure if you have a low, sagging brow or brow asymmetry. A brow lift might also boost your self-confidence.

A brow lift can be done alone or with other facial procedures, such as eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) or a face-lift.

Why it’s done

Aging typically causes the brows to move down. As skin and soft tissues lose elasticity, the distance between the eyebrows and eyelashes also shortens.

The lower position of the eyebrows can make you look tired, angry or sad. This procedure can raise the eyebrows and restore a refreshed, more pleasing appearance.

You might consider a brow lift if you have a low or sagging brow that’s contributing to sagging upper eyelids.

Risks

The procedure poses various risks, including:

  • Scarring. Scarring might be visible after this procedure.
  • Changes in skin sensation. A brow lift can cause temporary or permanent numbness on the forehead or top of the scalp.
  • Asymmetry in the position of the brows. This procedure can result in asymmetry, with one or both of the eyebrows appearing too high. However, asymmetry may even out during the healing process. Persistent brow shape or position problems can be treated through additional surgery.
  • Hair problems. A brow lift can cause an elevated hairline or hair loss at the incision site. If hair loss doesn’t resolve on its own, it can be treated with scar excision or hair grafting.

Like any other type of major surgery, a brow lift poses a risk of bleeding, infection and an adverse reaction to anesthesia.

How you prepare

Initially, you’ll talk to a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon about the procedure. During your first visit, your surgeon will likely:

  • Review your medical history. Be prepared to answer questions about current and past medical conditions. Talk about any medications you’re taking or have taken recently, as well as any surgeries you’ve had. Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any medications.
  • Do a physical exam. To determine your treatment options, the doctor will examine and measure different parts of your face with your eyes open and closed. The doctor might also take photographs for your medical record.

Castor oil

This is a simple but efficient method for naturally growing brows. Ricinoleic acid, which is found in around 90% of castor oil, is what promotes hair growth. However, because castor oil can produce an allergic reaction in some people, it’s best to do a patch test before using it on your brows.

How to apply Castor oil to your brows:

Step 1: Apply a few drops of castor oil to your palms and rub them together to warm them up.

Step 2: Gently massage this oil into your brows for a few minutes.

Step 3: Let it sit for 30 minutes before wiping it clean with a makeup remover and washing it off with water.

Your Face Reveals a lot about Your Health

0

When a person is ill or depressed, their face appears fairly exhausted. In comparison, it is the face that appears content and radiant during happy times. Thus, the following are some additional significant factors that indicate your health status:

  1. Yellow face and eyes

This is a severe manifestation of jaundice.  Jaundice can be associated with a variety of other serious health problems, including viral infections (hepatitis, mononucleosis), liver, gallbladder, or pancreas disorders, or liver cirrhosis.

  1. Hair loss on the face

If you’re losing your eyelashes or eyebrows, as well as patches of hair, this could be an indication of alopecia areata. It is caused by your immune system attacking your hair follicles, resulting in such hair loss patches on your face.

  1. Swollen eyes

Generally, this is due to the fluid in the area beneath your eyes, which gives the appearance of puffiness or swelling. The following are some factors that contribute to eye puffiness:

  • Inadequate sleep.
  • Excessive salt consumption.
  • Hormonal fluctuations.

 Extremely hot and humid climate.

  • Advanced age, as the muscles that support the eyelids deteriorate with age.
  • Allergic response.
  • Makeup.
  • Soap or cleansers
  • Fragrances.
  1. Inadequate facial hair growth

How infuriating it is to discover stray hair growing in unexpected places; unfortunately, this can be seen in men around the ears and brows and in ladies around the chin. Although this condition is not severe, it can occasionally be a sign or symptom of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in women.

  1. Lips that are chapped and bleeding

Chapped or dry lips are a common occurrence, especially in the winter. Protect and moisturize them with petroleum jelly, coconut oil, or balms. Additionally, it is seen in certain health conditions such as dehydration, allergy, or adverse reaction to a medication such as steroids.
