For as long as I was conscious of my body as something with flaws that could be fixed (hello adult womanhood) I have had cellulite.
From being fat to thin and everything between there it has lingered, with an orange-peel texture when standing up to full-on moon craters if I sit the wrong way.
Over these years I’ve tried dry body brushing, standing on a vibrating plate for ten minutes a day, and some strange metal device that warmed up my skin. The fact that I’m still writing this would tell you I’ve not yet managed to rid myself of the dimples.

What is the Circu-Lite cellulite suction cup?
This little cup is made from silicone and can be squeezed onto your skin for a massage.
Legology, who focus on various products designed for – you’ve guessed it – legs, say that ‘with a rolling massage technique’ this can ‘reduce fluid retention, stimulate local metabolism and smooth uneven areas of fat.’

Overall this isn’t much faff since I moisturize whenever I get out of the shower anyway, but I also didn’t do the twice-daily routine recommended by Legology (using it three or four times a week instead).

The results
Personally, I haven’t seen the noticeable results that many reviewers of the suction cup have. Despite the numerous treatments out there for cellulite, there’s no evidence that you can ever get rid of it, so that needs to be taken into account.
For some, it’ll be hormonal, and for others genetic. Whatever body shape you have you can have cellulite.
That said, I did enjoy the massage aspect of using the cup and the oil in tandem. My legs felt ‘lighter’ after using it, and since I’m not really that fussed about my dimply skin this was a nicer side-effect than the removal of those often-hated lumps and bumps.
