Treatments for improving the appearance of Big Lips are trendy and becoming popular from the last couple of years. Getting lip injections can be dangerous and for people who want safer and less invasive procedures to start, there are some options available.
Although these options last for less time, cause less pain and can be more controlled.
- Massage your lips: It can be done with a face roller, Gua Sha or other type of massagers. The objective is to increase the circulation to the lips and cause a very slight and transient increase in lip volume.
- Use of a lip suction device: For a more visible result, suction can help to temporarily give the illusion of fuller lips. Creating a vacuum around the lips boosts blood flow making them look more prominent. This technique should be done with caution to avoid bruising and other incidences.
- Use of special lip gloss: There are some lip products that contain ingredients that increase the appearance of lips. Some examples are the Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil, the Maybelline Lifter Gloss and even some lip balms. Products containing hyaluronic acid are also good choices.
- Exfoliate with gentle acids of scrubs: Regular exfoliating removes dead skin cells, leaving a smoother surface that refracts the light better, giving the illusion of fuller lips. If you choose this option, it is important to use a product that is especially formulated for lip use, as it is a different type of skin from the general face and should be done carefully.
In conclusion, if full lips will give you the look and confidence you want, there are some alternative and non-invasive ways to get there. Big and beautiful lips are easy to obtain if you don’t mind a temporary effect.
