Tabata is a type of training discovered by Japanese scientist Dr. Izumi Tabata and a team of researchers from the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Tokyo. They observed that high-intensity interval training impacts both the aerobic and anaerobic systems more. Based on that, each exercise in a given Tabata workout lasts only four minutes, but it’s made very hard to endure. It is possible to include almost any type of exercise in Tabata, like squats, push-ups, burpees, or any other that works for your large muscle groups.
In conclusion, there is a wide variety of exercises that you can do at home and get interesting results. With all of these opportunities, it is sure that you will find what you like and have fun doing.
