The Benefits Of Getting An Eyelash Lift And Tint

Eyelashes have the power to totally change expressions, making you look fresher and done for the rest of the day. If you don’t have the time or the habit of applying mascara every day, some techniques can help with that.

One of the most popular options is the eyelash lift and tint. This method will act like a perm for the eyelashes, boosting and lifting each lash before tinting them for thicker, darker, longer-looking lashes.

The process is simple and not painful, but it can be uncomfortable, depending on the client’s eye sensibility. There might be some tears, but that won’t negatively impact the process. It consists of three key steps:

  1. Silicone pads are placed on the eyelids (that will remain closed for the rest of the appointment), then the lashes are lifted, and serum is applied. This serum will break the lashes’ protein down so it can be molded onto the shield and take the desired shape.
  2. After that, a keratin-infused fixing serum will be applied to restore and condition the lashes. The tint is then applied, and the silicone pads are removed.
  3. A coat of pure keratin provides an extra protein layer to make the lashes more robust and conditioned.

If correctly done, lash lifts will not damage the lashes. In reality, this technique will motivate growing longer lashes and taking better care of them naturally. The results of a lash lift and tint last about six to eight weeks and should be redone after that.
