First: ALWAYS apply sunscreen. Sometimes finding the right one can be difficult, as they may be oily, with white residue, cause pimples, and other inconveniences but it is the most important part of skincare! It will prevent sunburns, skin aging, spots, and even cancer so never go outside with one good layer of it. Apply first, other products should always be applied on top of it.

Another essential is a good skin cleanser. There are many options like foam, liquid, bars, or gels and you can pick whatever is more comfortable but to clean your skin in the morning and before bed is really important to let your skin breathe and prevent excessive oiliness, acne, infections, and more. But excessive cleaning is also something that deserves attention as if you have very oily skin, it can actually get worse with too much soap and treatment with appropriate products will be more effective than just cleaning it many times a day.

A good moisturizer should always be included too. It can have other functions like anti-aging properties or help in the treatment of other conditions as oiliness or dryness but never forget to apply it! Hydrated skin is a sign of healthy skin and can prevent aging signs and the penetration of bacteria and other hazards that we are in contact with daily.

Planning your skincare routine should be fun and without any pressures of doing what’s the latest trend or being wrong in any sense. Remember these basic steps and do what makes sense for you!
