The Pros And Cons Of Lash Extensions

There are some esthetic procedures that are made to simplify the makeup routine. They are semi-permanent and usually replace some steps like lipstick, eyebrow pencils and mascara. In this context, the lash extensions are great as they lead to a mascara ready eye without the application of any type of product.

In this procedure, individual pieces of fake lashes are glued next to the real ones, creating a fuller but natural look. Although they last a couple of weeks, there are still some important maintenance steps to be followed.

Most extensions require 24 hours without wetting the lashes and it will be necessary to adapt the routine, like the way to clean the face or sleep, as friction should be avoided, and daily brushing but the results obtained at reliable centers are usually worth it taking so much care of lashes.

They are also pretty expensive and may lead to infections or irritations if not properly at the base. After all these recommendations, the effects will show long and natural (or not) lashes, with a present eye look.

Finally, when the cleansing is happening, applying a lash extension can be a changing point where it will need less time and effort to be and feel ready for special moments.
