James Dyson, the British inventor and founder of the brand, expressed that the innovation hopes to address how styling tools function across different hair types—utilizing the Coanada effect for enhanced results no matter the user. “The result: direction change barrels for faster and easier curling, re-engineered brush attachments for more precise shaping, and an entirely new, dual-purpose Coanda smoothing dryer,” he said in a press release.
