After watching a dozen videos on how to use our jade rollers properly and mastering the technique, a new method for incorporating crystals into DIY facials has emerged that requires less physical effort than facial rolling. That is, significantly less.

To be sure, it does necessitate complete and total stillness. And it’s unlikely to be possible in your bathroom. Like their sister practices, facial rolling and gua sha, crystal facials combine the mystical practice of crystal healing with beauty and skincare, promising brighter, tighter, and clearer skin.
Oh, and they allegedly also provide a slew of emotional benefits. Rather than rolling or scraping a crystal along your skin, all you have to do is lie down and let the stones work their magic on various areas of your face.
How does it work?
Crystals vibrate at various frequencies and assist in synchronizing our faces and bodies so they can glow. When they are placed on the different meridians, which correspond to the various energy pressure points on the face, they absorb and release heat.
The heat that is released frequently manifests as tension and puffiness in specific areas of the face, so the crystals’ placement is critical. That is where crystal facial grids enter the picture.
