The Excel V+ laser uses a high power green laser in order to target blood vessels and pigment with abnormalities. This allows the skin to return to a more natural colour and tone.
The wide range of conditions that this treatment can address includes facial redness, Rosacea, port wine stains, leg veins, keloid scars, sun damage pigmentation, and venous lakes (purple lesions on the lips).

Face veins, or telangiectasia varicose veins, are small clusters of veins that run close to the surface of the skin that have become enlarged. They are caused when the tiny valves in the circulation system stop working effectively, causing a backlog of blood flow.

There are special cells (melanocytes) in the skin that make melanin, a pigment that affects the colour of skin. When these special cells are damaged or unhealthy, melanin production is affected; some disorders affect the entire body, whereas others just affect patches of skin.
