- Scalp that is greasy
If you notice red, greasy skin with a yellow scale-like appearance, this is almost certainly the case. The small scaly patches associated with seborrheic dermatitis typically appear in areas that produce much oil, such as the scalp, brows, nose, and groin. On the scalp, these yellow flakes are more noticeable than dandruff.
- Showering Rituals
While we understand that dry shampoo is a beautiful thing, you should still make time for a good old-fashioned wash now and then. We’re talking about a couple of times a week to prevent oils and skin cells from accumulating and possibly causing unwanted flakes.

We’re not sure about you, but we find the change of seasons quite depressing. After all, nobody wants to say goodbye to summer. Along with putting an end to summer Fridays, the drastic temperature change results in scalp issues. When temperatures fluctuate between hot and cold and vice versa, the abrupt change can result in dry skin which can be the reason you are facing dandruff issue.
