One of the latest trends in alternative medicine is the use of aromatherapy, which can be defined as the controlled use of plant essences for therapeutic purposes. With that, many design air diffusers can be found on the market and are very useful since they disperse natural oils into the air, so your favorite essential oil will be in the room and can provide some health benefits.

The most popular plants to be used in this method are lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint, and many others that you can find in guides on the shops that sell these products. They can give positive benefits such as relaxation, improvement in anxiety, better sleep and; provide aid to depression, easing muscle and body aches, promoting blood circulation and even in the improvement of digestive problems.

These effects happen because the essential oils have the capacity of interacting with the brain and the nervous system.

The portable and ready to use diffusers are available in many different styles and are specially created to provide aromatherapy moments for the user. This is trending now because long periods indoors can lead to some symptoms that can be improved by aerial diffusion and may even avoid a doctor appointment.

Although there are many benefits in this complementary treatment, there are some dangerous effects that may cause if not properly used. This therapy is not recommended for people who have allergies (like asthma) and should be checked before use with doctors especially in cases of previous eczema, psoriasis, epilepsy, and hypertension patients.
