Facial wrinkles are one of the main complaints of cosmetic users, as they show advanced aging and can be worsened if proper care is not taken.
To analyze the changes on the skin, some equipment can see everything before and after the use of products. In this context, many products and procedures are created mainly to decrease the appearance of those lines and develop a new product. It is necessary to study if there are actual results of using those products over the time.
One of those pieces of equipment is the Primos CR by the company Canfield, which is ideal for investigating and documenting skin microstructures and wrinkles. It is composed of a camera with a three-dimensional technology capable of recording and evaluating the surface structure of the skin to support the actual effect of cosmetic treatments.
This device makes it possible to measure fine lines, wrinkles, crow’s feet, skin smoothness, wounds, and scars on the face. Its highlights are the 3D analysis tools that are simple to use but provide robust metrics from uncomplicated analysis tools. The obtained results are saved directly into the client chart with a rapid streaming capture with live-view evaluation, which will help data acquisition to run efficiently.
The study will be done with selected participants who will come and take pictures with the Primos in the same position (the software will help match the region) before and after using the product under study. The obtained results will then be compared. If there are improvements, they will be visible on the software.
In conclusion, this equipment is another advance in technology to contribute to even more reliable cosmetic products, with a guarantee of results to avoid frustrations and allow the users to consume better products and obtain the skin of their dreams.
