How to Use Olive Oil and Sugar to Soften Hands

Soften Hands: Olive oil and sugar can be combined to create a hand softener that is cheap and quick to make. Follow these simple steps for the softest hands, anywhere, anytime!

Aloe vera gel

With its many benefits we just couldn’t leave aloe vera gel out of this list. Aloe vera has healing and hydrating properties that will reduce skin inflammation and nourish your hands. Massage some aloe vera gel on to your hands and keep it on for 15 minutes then rinse it off with room temperature water. Doing this at least once a day will give you soft and supple hands.

Malai is not just for eating

Malai or the skin which forms on top of milk contains a lot of fats which help nourish your hands. Skim some malai from a container of milk and gently massage it onto your palms and nail beds and let it stay for 20 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water. Do this every night before bed for softer hands.

Olive oil to the rescue

Olive oil is a great source of antioxidants which will give you healthy hands. Its anti-ageing properties will keep them supple and soft. Just massage some olive oil onto your hands once or twice a day. Or you can add some sugar to it to make an exfoliating hand scrub. Mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of sugar and rub it onto your hands and nails. Rinse after 5-10 minutes. Apply this scrub once a week.
