I wanted to share a quick review and my personal experience with the Elvie Breast Pump with you guys tonight. It’s been a complete GAME-CHANGER for me and has made pumping a heck of a lot easier.
The Elvie Pump is the first SMART wearable breast pump that is silent, free of cords & tubes. It easily fits into your nursing bra which means not take off your clothes in an effort to pump. After my first delivery I used the Medela Breast Pump. I really disliked the tubes, shields wires and being tied to a wall. It was isolating to say the least and the set up and cleaning the pump was never-ending. Eventually I ordered that “Strapless Pumping Bra” to hold the tubes and bottles in place but still the overall feeling was not something I particularly enjoyed.
While I was pregnant I attended an event hosted by Elvie and I was immediately intrigued with the launch of their new SMART BREAST PUMP. I was gifted the pump and was excited to see if it actually lived up to the HYPE. Fast forward to today and I can honestly say that it has changed my overall expense with pumping.
WHY I SWITCHED TO THE ELVIE PUMP
- It’s a SMART PUMP- It mean’s you can connect the pump to your phone and an app! You can turn the pump on remotely from your Phone so no need to fiddle with buttons, plugs or wires. There is an Elvie app which will tell you things like how much you’ve pumped and for how long. So while you’re doing other things you can check the app to see how much milk you’ve produced without having to actually look at the pump. You can also track your pumping history so you don’t have to remember or log what time you last pumped. It also charges with a phone charger.
