Our new, larger unit is built to sanitize tablets and smaller home items. Based on popular demand we’ve added an On & Off switch that can be used to toggle between manual and automatic modes or turn off your UV-C lights at any time. Like our smartphone sanitizers, this unit can also charge while it sanitizes through the built-in USB ports. Whatever fits inside HomeSoap will be sanitized, so you can clean anything from a pacifier to remote control.
Sanitizing
It takes 10 minutes. The glowing bolt turns on while your device is being sanitized and shuts off when the process is complete. HomeSoap was designed for any item that fits inside. The UV light is most effective on hard, non-porous surfaces. The UV light is less effective against fabrics and other porous materials because of the many shadows they create that may block the UV light from hitting the surface. The UV light can only kill germs on surfaces with which it comes in contact.
While HomeSoap physically fits many objects, its effectiveness on your item may be reduced on the surfaces that come in contact with the HomeSoap’s inner plastic chamber. To guarantee maximum effectiveness on every surface of your device, set your item centered on the bottom quartz plate. If it rests on the side of HomeSoap, make sure it rests on the vertical quartz tubes, not the plastic side, for 360 degrees sanitizing.
